Before the announcement of the results, Márta Fodorné Molnár, the rector of the Hungarian University of Dance, which organizes the competition, highlighted that the standard was excellent, perhaps even stronger than a year earlier, which is why the jury had to make a difficult decision.

Mária Aradi, the president of the jury, drew attention to the fact that many talented ballet artists had arrived in Budapest, the Hungarian capital, and it was an experience to see the young people.

There are many brilliant talents among them – confirmed the former excellent ballet artist.

Everyone emphasized that those who did not make it to the final will not be left without an opportunity, because on Thursday they will be able to continue their work with excellent masters at the university.

Tamás Nagy, the director of the competition, thanked the jury for their work and drew attention to the fact that this competition is also an opportunity for development. Not only for the ballet artists, but also for the organizers.

“Two days behind us, but two ahead of us. The ballet artists can now concentrate on the final. The young artists are used to the venue. I hope everyone can perform even better tomorrow. I wish all the finalists the best of luck!”

The names of the participants who reached the final can be found here.
