The Hungarian Dance University, which plays a primary role in the training of Hungarian professional dancers, is launching a new ballet competition of outstanding artistic quality in order to promote ballet and dance art in Hungary. The event is called the Budapest Ballet Grand Prix, which will be held for the first time between 21st and 24th of November.

BBGP aims to become the most renowned and respected ballet competition in Central Europe. The competition offers young dancers an opportunity to compete and gain exposure in the international dance scene, provides scholarships and career opportunities for the most outstanding dancers and can convey the values and achievements of Hungarian culture, dance and dance education to the world.
